Welcome to our organization

The membership of the association would like to welcome you to our website, and invite you to attend our monthly networking meeting. The FCBPA is represented by over 100 local businesses including retail, service, construction, health, finance, transportation, community service and more.  Our association is active in organizing and promoting events that benefit the community including the Annual Fountain City Easter Egg Hunt and the Central High School Scholarship Fund.   The FCBPA proudly supports business and community improvement in the Fountain City area including:

  • New business development and support of existing local businesses
  • Cultivating, through networking and supportive business practices, relationships between businesses and organizations in the community
  • Support for Fountain City Schools
  • Scholarships for qualifying Central High School Seniors
  • Supporter of Community Programs including Fountain City Skate Park, The Fountain City Lions Club and more. Proud partner of the Knoxville Chamber, including an active seat on the Knoxville Area Business Council (www.knoxvillechamber.com)

    Saturday, April 4th, 2009 (rain date to be announced)

    9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

    Fountain City Park

    Featuring 2nd Annual Fountain City Arts and Crafts Fair in The Park

    Vendors Needed!

    (*Our 2008 Egg Hunt was a huge success. Over 200 children and their parents came out to this wonderful community event to enjoy prizes, games, concessions, rides and of course the Easter Bunny. No admission or fee is ever required. This event is free to the entire community and relies on volunteers and booth entrants.)

    We need your help to continue this successful Fountain City Tradition! The Easter Bunny needs volunteers to assist with prizes, games and set up. All skill levels and ages welcome!

    FCBPA Members and Non-Members, help is needed to provide game booths and prizes for the children.

    *Showcase your business with a fun booth or prizes for the children.

    *Examples: face painting, ring toss, balloon bust, fishing booth or even popcorn/snack booths.

    * Booth Space is available at just $20 this year if you register by March 11th, $35 thereafter.

    If your business is unable to provide booth participation, please help us with prizes for the egg hunt. Thanks to the generosity of our members last year, two lucky children took home new bicycles!

    All children who participate receive a prize, so all types of toys, games, or Easter basket donations are appreciated. Monetary contributions will also be accepted. Fax completed forms to 686-9966 attention Debbie or phone 237-9813.
