A Note From Our President
Originally founded in 1982, the Fountain City Business and Professional Association was organized to unite the business and professional people of the area into a strong, cohesive unit and thereby providing a means for influencing future area growth, meeting common business and community goals, and resolving common business community problems.
Today our members continue their dedication to supporting the needs of the Fountain City Community; its residents, merchants and civic leaders. FCBPA members work together to share resources while building trusted business and networking relationships, strengthening the individual businesses in the association, as well as the overall economy of our area. We strive to serve Fountain City with programs designed to support higher education, economic development and diversity, and business excellence.
Member benefits include monthly luncheon meetings with guest speakers, activities and events that offer the opportunity to network with other businesses in and around Fountain City, and the opportunity to gain insights into the local business community. The FCBPA currently sponsors an annual Easter Egg Hunt in Fountain City Park, scholarship programs benefiting area students and Central High School, and the Claude C Myers Lifetime Achievement Award.
Our 2008/2009 agenda promises several new and exciting opportunities to contribute to our community and our businesses. Please join us as we work toward our goals in helping the businesses and residents of our community. We welcome your participation, and look forward to meeting you.
