April-May 2011: Jason Phillips with Family Dentistry of Knoxville
I bought this practice in September 2010 off Broadway on Adair Dr. in the Food City Shopping Center. I am originally from Clinton, and have lived back in East TN for the past 3 years. I went to dental school @ UT-Memphis, Advanced Training @ UT-Hospital Knoxville. At Family Dentistry of Knoxville, we take care of people’s dental needs for all ages from fillings and crowns, to dentures and implants. Whenever I purchased the practice, we wanted to update the practice, so we have state-of-the art digital x-rays and cameras for pictures of your teeth, Wi-fi in the waiting room and tvs in all operatories for the patient to watch while having his or her teeth cleaned or worked on.

March-April 2011: Ellen Hubrig with the Society of Friendly Fellows
Pledge to Seek and Find the GOOD in Others and you’re a friendly fellow. Sidney J. Burgoyne started the Society of Friendly Fellows in 1925 in Philadelphia, PA. Ellen Hubrig, a great-granddaughter, re-established it in 2008 in Knoxville, TN. Part of the proceeds from their inspirational book, “Daily Thoughts for Friendly Fellows” goes to the National Parkinson Foundation.
